Fit Kids’ Program
As I was researching different activities for my 6 year old to participate in, I discovered there were many dance, gymnastic and martial arts programs, but no fitness and athletic specific programs available in the Victoria area. I thought about putting together some type of program for kids but didn’t really commit to the idea until I saw how much fun my child was having in one of my bootcamp classes. Not only was there a smile from ear to ear, there was also a huge sense of accomplishment when she had completed the class.
Being an athlete from a very young age I had access to many of the wonderful coaches that taught me basketball, soccer, field hockey, volleyball and track and field during the school season, but there was nothing to continue to teach me these drills and keep my body moving during the off-season or to complement my current athletic activities.
Utilizing my strong athletic background, personal training certifications and experienced years of running my own bootcamp and conditioning platform I have put together a program for young children, which will teach them valuable skills and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle.
The Fit Kids’ program will focus on the Fitness ABCS (Agility training, Balance and Co-ordination and Strength and Endurance). Your child will be introduced to the following basic components of fitness
- Cardiovascular, Endurance and Strength training
- Motor Skills development and enhancement (Agility and speed training)
- Sports specific training and conditioning
- Functional Body Weight training
Each class will vary, utilizing functional bodyweight resistance exercises, timed interval training, circuit training classes for those short attention spans and a plethora of different training styles, fun games and exercises to keep your child fit and teach them the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
By educating your child about “Functional Bodyweight Movements” I hope to show them a strong base and give them positive life tools that they will use throughout their lives.
Our kickboxing portion of our program will be a great addition as Liz teaches them basic kickboxing drills and exercises that will not only get their heart rate going, but challenge their balance, co-ordination and teach them great skills and athletic movements that they can apply in all areas of training. Not only is this a great workout for your child, but it is also a great stress and energy release. Kickboxing classes are taught in a structured and safe environment.
As your child moves through our program, he/she will explore the endless possibilities of how to use their body for exercise. Functional bodyweight movements are often overlooked throughout the training industry and I am confident that your child will enjoy them as much as my adult students do.
By participating in a program with such a well rounded variety of exercises and workouts, your child will no doubt leave each class exhilarated and exhausted!
Each week will alternate between kickboxing and bootcamp on Mondays at 3:30-4:30PM

In order to participate in our program, a waiver must be filled out by a parent or legal guardian PRIOR to your first class. Reservations are also required in order to maintain manageable class sizes. All reservations are done online and can be done through our online booking center.
